Photographing Original 2D and 3D Art:
Use a high-resolution phone or digital camera when taking still photographs of the original artwork. If you have one, use a tripod as it will make the photos much sharper (but this isn't necessary if you are able to hold the camera perfectly still). Turn off the camera flash and place the artwork in natural diffused daylight. Try not to place the artwork in direct sunlight as it will result in a photo with much more contrast. Try shooting some photographs in different lighting situations to get the one photo that most looks like the original.

The Drop-off point for Art 4D (Digital):
The Cazenovia Library is at 100 Albany Street (parking in back, off Riverside Dr. from Mill St.). They have graciously let us set up a spot where you can physically place your envelope with your thumb drive into our box for submission. Just go to the main desk, it should be within sight; if not ask. The box will be available at the Library from May 1 through May 31, 2021. The Library is open Mon. - Fri. from 10am - 6pm; Saturday from 10am - 2pm; closed on Sunday.
