Patricia Christakos received her MFA in Media Arts, from Maine Media College, in May 2020. In her most recent work, she layers original and found materials to create experimental video installations. She enjoys including gendered domestic objects, like flowers, beds, and kitchen sinks, into her narratives and performance work. Her videos and fine art photography have been shown nationally including a 2021 exhibition at The Southeast Museum of Photography in Florida where her video installation, The Sleepover, will be shown. Her first artist book, Sleepover Secrets, will be published in November 2021.
