September Autumn Leaves Arts Festival
You are invited, whether local or visiting for the weekend, to enjoy this beautiful historic village as the leaves are turning and summer breezes off the lake are tinted with the breath of autumn air and that crispness of our fall evenings.  With historic restaurants and inns, outdoor dining, strollable pathways through Willow Patch along the Creekside, and sunsets over Cazenovia Lake, the September Autumn Leaves Arts Festival invites you to take a moment, relax, and thoroughly enjoy art with in our natural art.

All events and facilities will be following and promoting safe COVID protocol.

Siobhan Fallon Hogan - movie "RUSHED"   Tickets   7 PM   September 1,2,3  Catherine Cummings Theater  
Siobhan Fallon Hogan is a home town girl who has starred in major movies including Forrest Gump and Men in Black.  Her TV work includes Saturday Night Live, episodes of The Golden Girls, and Seinfeld.   At the September Autumn Leaves Arts Festival, she will be showing Rushed, a gripping thriller, which she wrote and stars in.  Afterward the movie there will be a chance for the audience to have a conversation with Siobhan.

Ann Cross Retrospective Exhibit Reception   5:30 - 7:00 PM  Sept. 2  Cazenovia Public Library
Ann Cross was a much-loved Cazenovia resident and artist.  For years she curated the gallery at the Cazenovia Library.  Ann passed away this past year.  In her honor , John Rooney her husband, has gathered favorite pieces from his collection and will be shown in the Cazenovia Public Library's gallery which Ann had curated. 

Cazenovia Artisans Reception  2 PM - 5 PM   September 4th
Cazenovia Artisans Reception. "Picking Up the Pieces" Reimagining the Material World - Painted Furniture by Marilyn Fegan, Hand-woven designs by Barbara Decker.  Artwork up September 1-30, 2021 at Cazenovia Artisans

Grand Opening Carpenter's Barn  Arts Hub   7:00 - 9:30 PM  September 10th
The stone barn was built in 1889, in the corner of what is now Lake Land Park.  CazArts in cooperation with the Village, Cazenovia Area Community Development Association, and Cazenovia College, have been working all year to refurbish, rebuild, and re-imagine it as an Arts hub.  The Grand Opening is the beginning of a new life for the barn as a vibrant home base for the arts in the greater Cazenovia Area.  With 16 leading area arts organizations participating, the Grand Opening and Open House is in invitation to come see and support this new community arts center.

Historical Tour of Park & Carpenters Barn  3:00 - 3:30 PM  September 11th
Cazenovia Heritage is sponsoring this historical architectural tour of Carpenter's Barn.  Leading the tour is Ted Bartlett, a distinguished and award-winning Preservation Planner and advocate. Jazz-N-Caz   September 16 – 18th
Jazz-N-Caz invites you to three nights of great music in Cazenovia presented by Cazenovia College.  With local and nationally recognized musicians performing in locations around the Village,  Jazz-N-Caz is free and open to the public.

Lorenzo Fine Arts Tour   2:00 PM   September19th  Lorenzo
Lorenzo Fine Arts Tour showcases selections from the art collection at the Lorenzo State Historical site.  Built in 1807, the mansion overlooking Cazenovia Lake, is one of the jewels of our area. 

Manhattan SHORT Film Festival  6:30 PM  September 24th , 1:00 PM September 25  Cazenovia Public Library  
Manhattan SHORT Film Festival – Audiences in over 500 cities, spanning 6 continents unite for one week to all view the 2021 Manhattan SHORT.  You will join viewers all over the world in voting for your pick of the best short film and best actor

Cazenovia Art Trail   10 AM - 5 PM   September 25 & 26th
