CARPENTER'S BARN - Artist Studio

The Artist Studio:
The stables in the 1889 carriage house have been redesigned into a large shared art studio with six work stations. It is designed for artists who want their own dedicated space and want to work around other artists in an arts center. To inquire about the studios, contact us at info@cazarts.com.

Meet the Artists:

Audrey Hamilton

Audrey Hamilton has been a digital photographer for the past several years. She discovered it later on in life as a way of handling some grief.  Audrey is an alumni of Cazenovia College and currently resides here in town.   Her work specializes in mysterious textures and shadows occurring in the natural environment, especially swampland  and forests.  Audrey also has an affinity for long scraggly trees and  branches.  Her latest gallery,  Swamp Reflections,  at the Cazenovia Library was an exploration of brilliant Autumn leaves reflected in murky puddles below.   She currently works with a Nikon Z7 and D850.  She does all her own editing and shoots in raw to preserve all the data in each image file.

Jaime Fedele

Jaime is an abstract artist from Syracuse, NY. Her current focus is large scale acrylic and mixed media abstractions with emphasis on texture, reflectivity and movement. She believes in the importance of play in the process of creating and that abstract art is a way of noticing your own emotional states.

Professionally she is a bodyworker who focuses on emotional release and often brings that interplay between the somatic experience and mind into her artistic work.

In 2022 she completed a mural for Parthenon bookstore in Syracuse, NY which you can view in person, and you can often see her work shown at the Gear Factory in Syracuse.
