The 1889 Stone Barn at Lakeland Park"Welcomes you to the Village" of Cazenovia, and is an exciting new Artists Studio Hub and the Community Arts Hall.

Community Arts Hall:
A large multi-purpose community arts room for classes, meetings, workshops, performances, and programs with local artists and Cazenovia College; a place to view artwork in progress; a home-base for arts festivals and events; a meeting place for artists who want to initiate new programs; and an information center for visitors looking to connect with local artists.

The Artist Studio Hub:
A large shared studio with six work stations. Artists who want their own dedicated space and want to work around other artists can rent the space.

CazArts is offering a few introductory classes this fall, in preparation for a very active spring and summer.

Cost: $10.00 per person or $20.00 for families with 2 or more people (only 12 and up)
Bring your own drum and/or acoustic instrument, if you so choose!

Treat yourself to an afternoon of spontaneous connection, community and music play with drums and other instruments. Bring any instrument including your voice if you choose. Movement is encouraged and celebrated! This playshop is a safe opportunity to step-in gradually, then take a deep dive into child-like improvisational play.  Community drumming and music play have been proven to relieve stress, cure isolation and collaborate with others in creating beautiful music that's available to anyone.  No prior experience necessary.  Hand drums and percussion available.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR/TEACHER:
Jimbo Talbot
, founder of DrumQuest: Adventures in Happy, Healing Rhythm and Sound, is a Drum Circle Facilitator, Remo Health Rhythms® practitioner, sound therapist, an acclaimed vocalist and percussionist, team builder, drum maker and workshop presenter. Jimbo embodies a deep passion for helping people to discover their Musical Joy!  Rooted in traditional rhythms, trained in classical voice and inspired by the cosmos, he brings his own unique brand of energetic fun and healing to each session.
